Joan Pere Capllonch Cerdà has worked from the beginning in a law firm that deals mainly with this subject. In the course of time, he has continued his training in the different aspects of commercial law, both at a professional and academic level.
Joan Pere Capllonch Cerdà holds a degree in law from the University of Barcelona and a Master's in tax law from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (own title), as well as a Master in bankruptcy law and corporate restructuring from the University of the Balearic Islands (own title). He is currently pursuing a PhD in commercial law at the University of the Balearic Islands. In order to be constantly updated and aware of the main legislative developments, Joan PereCapllonch has obtained the title of University Expert in Conflict Resolution in Civil and Commercial Matters through Mediation, has participated in a large number of congresses and seminars on the subject of bankruptcy and corporate law, has attended numerous lectures by experts in the field, and has completed several specialization courses.
He has performed numerous ongoing legal counseling assignments in a variety of businesses, in addition to advising individuals on matters of economic importance. He specializes in bankruptcy law and corporate restructuring, advising companies in bankruptcy as well as creditors, performing the function of a bankruptcy trustee in numerous proceedings in which he has been entrusted, and bankruptcy administration, both directly and in collaboration with other professionals. He has been registered in the List of Insolvency Administrators of the Illustrious Bar Association of the Balearic Islands since 2010 and also in the Register of Insolvency Mediators of the Ministry of Justice since 2016.
On the other hand, Joan Pere Capllonch Cerdà is an associate professor at the University of the Balearic Islands, where he has given lectures on commercial contracts and securities, tourist contracts, insolvency law, basic concepts of law and corporate law. He has also given several courses in the Master's Degree in Insolvency Law and the Master's Degree in Law at UIB.
